Hello all, i hope your meeting was productive.
Taz, from the third year ba, presented a devising workshop today that i think would be a great start for your scratch or festival project. He offered to run it for an hour after your unit 8 session.
Discussing ideas as you well know is ok, playing with ideas on your feet, much better.
Please update here for me and absentees on where you are at the moment with it. I have budgets now so we can discuss this when we next meet.

That sounds pretty useful actually. We had arranged to have a meeting to discuss the next steps for the fringe project in that hour after unit 8, but we could always reschedule to have it after the workshop, so from 3pm till 4pm if necessary and everyone can make it. We're yet to decide whether we are going to perform at the fringe as one group or as two separate groups as this was going to be the major point of discussion on monday. We felt this had to be decided before we know whether we are devising or before we can put together a proposal etc. Thanks Vanessa, I'll see if I can get everyone's attention via facebook and I'll try to let you know the outcome by the end of play today.
ReplyDeletegreat thanks. Remember your decisions have to be financially viable and also, run by me! Make sure you are talking to me before deciding what may not be advisable or possible. Hope you do the workshop tomorrow cos that is more important than discussions not based on any real work. Any decisions on venues?
ReplyDeleteHello all George has updated me. Please hold off contacting venues until we have spoken. There are things we need to discuss before booking and going in brochure. I can meet with you Wednesday or Thursday.
