I really enjoyed the rope and silks today! I was so amazed that I managed to do most of it (with much difficulty and sores). I thought everyone did really well! :) It has made me realise though just how difficult it is and surely to use these in our piece we would either need a lot of practice (and visits to the gym) or simplify our blocking and if we did that, would it be effective? Also today has made me think about how our script is hard to understand so wouldn't we want to simplify our staging so that the text is clearer to the audience? I might have to give a demonstration if this is unclear.
