Ah these pictures are great, thank you. I'm so happy to have been a part of this. The one thing I would have liked is some budget towards our expenses. After doing the Fringe its made me think more about costs and this festival has cost me alone, £66 for travel and costume only. Although it rained throughout until we'd all finished, there was great community spirit and everyone was so friendly and cooporative especially when I had to try and squeeze all the blues into their area.
I didn't really have time to network due to stewarding (and being a high fiving smurf with the kids!!) Catia, Radley and I did a recorded interview though before we helped with George to clear up afterwards. Thank you Vanessa for offering this to me, I'd definitely do this or similar again!
My highlight: The community atmosphere and positive, friendly comments.
My lowlight: During the interview I was a bit freaked out by what I thought was a tropical spider on my face and then I realised the poor thing was just covered in my blue paint!
Really great stuff guys, well done! Thanks, yes, to Vanessa for steering this link and opportunity, and to you four for your committment and input. B, you make a valid point, but one which might be balanced by the notion of the £66.00 being seen as an investment in your career in terms of networking and contacts, and something on your C.v which shows that even before you received your FdA certificate, you were out there working... :) Anyway, Bravo one and all,
