The decision has been made and we are starting to work on the script Disco Pigs by Edna Walsh.
Our first exercise after our staged reading is done in pairs. Pick any page from the script. Read through and find the subtext. Rewrite the scene as subtext and stage.
Please post your ideas on what the challenges and opportunities in working on and staging this script are.
What does autocracy mean?
ReplyDeleteI found that using sub text helped to understand the characters more and the initial challenge with the language became easier, as we were unpicking individual lines :)
